D1 Men's Soccer in New England

Now that the 2019 season is underway, here's how are our local New England Men's D1 teams are doing so far...

    BC 6-1
    Bryant 1-2
    BU 0-5
    Harvard 0-3
    Merrimack 2-1
    Northeastern 2-2-1
    UMass 4-1
    UML 2-2-1
    URI 2-2-1
    UVM 3-2

It's early yet but BC seems strong out of the gate, tough games ahead in the ACC. BU is struggling. Merrimack is new to D1 and looks to be a strong competitor in their first season.

How about the only decent local team, Dartmouth?

Tyler Mann transferred from UML to UMass.

                  Any more local transfers?

                      UNH 1 Dartmouth 0

                      UNH likely best local team.

                        Likely?

By far. No connection there. Just a fan of the game. I'd say possession vs. Dartmouth was 75/25. I go to all UML games. They are way off this year. Saw BC v BU. Neither are too good. Providence is good but still well behind UNH who should contend nationally.

The OP did not include UNH on his list of teams and did include UNH on his list of teams BC beat. I reminded him it was an exhibition game of course. So I was soft pedaling UNH for now.

BC beat both UNH (2-1)and Providence (3-1) in preseason and BU in regular season games.

                              UNH ranked.

                              BC does have some votes.
Doubt they consider preseason games for this.
