      Mostly the last two. An athlete who is lower than average (but still acceptable) probably won't get much merit. A coach can ask but has no control over what an athlete applicant is granted by the school. Be above average then you'll get more. Grades matter, even for athletes

        No aid at NESCACs, other than pure financial aid. Anyone that tries to tell you anything else is lying or ignorant. Know the rules of the conferences that your kid might be targeting.
