What a lot of you parents dont understand is just because good players come from another club it takes hard work for them to work together and gel. TBU does a great job at putting the best possible team on the field. Again there must be a big reason why there were that many WFF players that went over to TBU. WFF really must suck bad to not make a great effort in keeping those players there like free fries and soda for life. Those parents must of left because they were not happy with the coaching they received and looking forward to the coaches that were going to be in place. I'm sure they left because they wanted to surround their child with a more talented group of kids that were committed. Thats life folks..people make moves in their best interest. Dont be sour at the players or parents for doing whats best for them.

Just like any other team Im sure there will be players that wont make the team next year and also as the teams get older the roster gets bigger by a couple. So just like any other team Im sure there will be 4-5 spots available. I believe if you truly want to make the best team then every year should be a new year and the best players get picked for the team with no political bias....Comment

Not happening. Players are on the best team in the state, possibly the region. They have a great coach and are happy playing ECNL soccer. Plus wff might not even have a DA program next season.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

Isnt that the reason every club has 2nd and 3rd teams? To pay for the salaries of the premier coaches? Funny because everyone knows WFF GDA program compares to most 2nd or 3rd teams from any club. WFF players and parents just think they are a top team when everyone knows thats far from the truth. If you have great coaching then you have to pay for it. So parents should know this....WFF has the worst coaches and your still paying for their salaries. Thats like getting kicked and the jewels and accepting it....Comment

There have been quite a few studies over the years about professional coaches and their impact. It’s smaller than you’d imagine. And, the most significant impact is in things like “goals allowed” versus “goals scored.” Granted, youth coaches should have more impact than professional coaches. But, only if you develop. If you’re just trying to recruit horses and not develop, that coach has little impact. Obviously, the perfect cocktail is to recruit and develop.Comment
