The kid who put the ball out to the wing, the kid on the wing that got to the ball and kept it in play and served it to the forward who took out the goalie and back tapped it to JM all should get the credit rather then JM who vultured the goal and hit a weak shot to an empty net that A U14 player could of scored on deserve, and I dont mean because they are bigger!
You should have let it die on the vine dude. You are perpetuating this thread.
PS...The thread is uconn sucks, not JM sucks. They just got trashed by a school that you need 300 point more on your SATs to be considered for and you want to brag about a kid a scoring an empty net goal on that she did no work for
theres no cure for that Bro

I said go get laid, not go watch porn. Nobody can be around stat geeks unless you are a CPA, actuary or plain nerd. Maybe you are just 2 out 3? What is the % of you accomplishing that???
Worse than all the UConn numbers flying off your keyboard. Now shut your pie hole and beat it! I meant go away, because you know how to beat it.

is there a stat for great scoring chances that go south? no and we have all seen it happen
a great pass to a wide open shot that ends up in the parking lot
unless you watch every game (like the coach does) you don't know-you are just a slave to a box score, which gives a glimpse but not the whole picture

I’d include the ridiculous stats mean nothing posts, but I’ve made my point.

U14?
My U12 could make that shot with keeper on the floor. If not, I would make her shoot 100 shots in the backyard before she could eat dinner!
That Uconn highlight video showed a lot of Uconn goalie saves. Makes me think it could have been a lot worse if not for some quality saves by her.

maybe you should wait about 5 years and see that your kid is still an athlete before commenting on a kid who actually got to where you want your kid to go

Would you rather your team have high shots or high shots on goal (for instance, Stanford was just beaten 1-0 with only 1 SOG, but it was the only one that mattered)?
