[QUOTE=Unregistered;2563238]Originally posted by Unregistered View PostJesuit is hands down the state champion. Go ahead and give them the trophy. Nobody stops their attack and honestly I'd be surprised if they give up any goals the rest of the year.
Mountainside, Sherwood, South Eugene, Oregon City and Beaverton will rise to the top five and whichever one is lucky enough in the bracketing, will have a shot at second place.
South Eugene? Beaverton?
Replace Eugene, Beav and OC with West Salem, West Linn and Barlow. Point is moot. No one comes close to Jesuit. We should just give the trophy to Jesuit now and do playoffs without them. Jesuit could join back in for Champ game only. That we can see who would be a true 2nd and 3rd. Any team that ends up on Jesuits side of the bracket is screed. The earlier they meet Jesuit, the more screwed.
You people are comical. Jesuit MS Barlow and Sherwood are they distant top four. Nobody else even close.

Do you realize how silly you all look bragging on here?
Maybe you should hold your fire until you beat Jesuit?

No one is close to Jesuit. MS ‘a GPOY will be off to college and 14 juniors will become seniors. Jesuit loses 6 seniors but has 10 super juniors to take their places. West Linn loses 14 seniors! This year is already Jesuit’s by a mile. What about next year. Do MS’s juniors take the title next year? Is there ever a year in the near future when Jesuit becomes vulnerable?

So be it but talking about who remains more than who is graduating. This year Jesuit players rule, we’ve all agreed and have beaten that dead horse. Does MS have the edge next year? According to you, Jesuit is losing much more so do they still have better players left or does MS?

I am talking about this year’s leading scorer. They will lose her next year and she is a bigger impact than MS player so will be a bigger impact. You can’t really replace a player who scores 40 goals a year.

Wasn’t MS kid player of the year last year in Metro? Sounds like rest of league (not including UofJ ) thinks she is best in league?
