No Kibwe hate. As you will find out he's not a good girls coach. Plus you need an advocate for colleges he's not the right person. Sorry but your $$$$$ are going in vain here. Good guy, not the right coach. You will be doing all the work to get her into Lewis and Clark.

Okay I get it now. At WST you are left without a coordinated college recruitment program....I see. If you were at OR Crossfire or THUSC you would know that the advocacy is not left up to the team coach but a coordinator who helps you with the entire process which includes the advocacy of the DOC's who have lots of connections with girl coaches across the country. I can see how being at a Boys club you would be more dependent upon the team coach.

Your team did a lot of good things to generate maximum interest for your girls and for that you should take a bow. IMHO the Academy is a step back for your team but I see the allure of the cap on expenses.

I don't expect you to understand that being on an ECNL team makes getting the attention of your targeted coaches easier but they WILL be at the events to see your DD play on multiple occasions during her prime recruiting years.

and you obviously don't know anything about wst. You continue spout stuff that is totally false. you must have some sort of envy for wst. if you knew anything about wst you would at least know they hold regular workshops to help player navigate the college recruiting scene. At the end of the day.. it is up to the player and parents to make it happen. go back and crawl into your perfect little thusc/crossfire hole.

No, girls are included and it has paid off for them. Does your team have any offers? How about your daughter, where is she headed after HS? PCC Rock Creek?

I'm not the one saying the coach is the key

Step back Jack. The argument was made that Kibwe, an assistant at PSU a Big Sky school was not a good resource for the next level compared to Thurley. That implies that the club was not carrying the torch!

It isn't comparing Kibwe to Thurley, but Kibwe to Tina. Since those are the choices these kids have. It's odd that you think that an assistant coach at a lower division 1 school who never went through the HS recruiting process and isn't well known in the US Collegiate world is better than someone who went through the HS recruiting process, received a ton of exposure playing in front of college coaches both in college and on the WNT and who has an extensive network. And she just won a national title at the youth level. Yet somehow, Kibwe is a fine choice as coach and Tina is a terrible one. I sure hope you people aren't making choices in life that impact anyone other than your own family.

LOL you think her rep as a player carries any weight in the COACHING profession...seriously?

In a few years she may have built a rep of developing and evaluating players so that when she vouches for a player it means something but today....today her rep is not one of a heavy weight in the profession of coaching.

If you took the WNT blinders off you might be able to process the concerns that parents who have first hand experience with her abilities and style are voicing. Go ahead and buy that heavily "advertised" product but I'll rely on consumer reports and customer ratings to invest my time and money.

Kibwe was a better player. 10x more experience. He develops players. Tina recruits. He never cheated to get stupid wins. She did. He doesn't have a truck load of past parents saying he didn't follow through with promises. He does. He's done the recruitment trek. She hasnt.

Know before you speak. But all you have is she won a tournament with guest players and a bunch of kids she never developed.

Bu bu bu she was a Husky and made the WNT and played for the Thorns! She MUST be a good coach!

Unless that van load of disgruntled parents are lying there is not much car under that shinny paint job.

The good news is that the Copa girls laid the foundation for their own success without Tina. The bad news is for all the OTHER Academy players buying the BS.

Is this the same Copa team that just lost to FC Portland 1-0 or is it the one that's playing in the silver division at the Beaverton Cup.
