Yes they are. The manager travels for free. Yet another cost the scholarship players won't have to cover and the players paying full ride will have to pay to cover for themselves and the scholarship players.

The problem is don't sit back and let this happen, parents need to stick togeather and say no. But if nothing is said you can't complain .

Just volunteer to do it for free. Otherwise you shouldn't bitch about it. As much traveling as they will be doing the manager should get their expenses paid for. That's a lot of work.

Along with the travel, coordinating all the excuses on TS when the teams lose, THAT'S going to be the big job.

But for goodness sakes, buy your team manager a doggone drink in the bar! It's not about the money, just nice to feel appreciated. "Thanks for all you do" is one thing, but a nice martini is another level of thank you.
It is one thing to volunteer, but I don't think anyone volunteers to pay more than those parents who sit back

Why? If the jobs on the team are broken up this job is not that hard. Hit a few buttons on the keyboard and hit send. That's the problem with society always wanting more . So if it meant player's leaving the team because of this then what?
