These rankings are better than GotSoccer.. looks like GPS is 53..

If you are that good apply to Premier bracket at Surf and see how you do. Best of luck

After they win State cup they may actually rank in the top 50 nationally (right now they are 53rd). I would say that makes them a legit contender. GPS is legit and also has college pathways that placed several kids this year. Not an avenue to be overlooked or so easily dismissed. Players there have to commit, train hard and earn it though.. so not for everyone.
When they've beaten an ECNL team, ANY ECNL team, let us know. Until then, just a bunch of OYSA Rec+ players.

Your ranking system lost all credibility when they have the Thorns U18 team ranked in the top 30.

Cu ECNL didn't play the top bracket at Surf either. FCP didn't even try and compete down there.

Better check again. Onyx has played in the premier bracket every year. If you are truly a top 30 team in the country then Surf will put you there

Seems like the same argument people on here use against clubs like FCP when they get their arses kicked at the younger ages.

Surf will put you in a bracket based upon your performance vs the quality of your competition. If you are killing "cupcake" teams you will not be in The Super Black group. If you are competing against other top ranked teams they will put you in the higher group. Good Luck at Surf Cup
