What OW Dad doesn't understand is that ECNL teams focus on showcasing the kids as the primary focus of these tournaments. Winning them is a distant second. Every player gets even time which means sometimes they are playing a different position. Can OW make the claim that every single player is getting an equal chance of being seen by college coaches? I heard that was a No.
Also, ECNL teams do not chase Got Soccer points.
Wager a bet to win with one of those coaches and set up a game. I don't think you will see the same results.

Nice work by Oakwood here. U15 is the last year that the Jeff Cup plays a tournament format so it's a great year to win. Parents can't brag as much in the showcase format. All kidding aside, tremendous accomplishment by OW here. Definitely a quality result.

My Daughter is an older CFC player and I can tell you that the club philosophy is equal time at these events as well as the ECNL events like FLorida, Arizona and PDA. Showcase events are for college exposure with results being secondary.

Heard OW had players that rode the pine for 80 minutes in the 3rd game. Not exactly a showcase if you are still wearing the sweatshirt.

YU was fine although they only had the one team there. BS got spanked and FSA npl teams didn't have a good weekend
