2001 doesn't play OYSA. Do you have a link?

When was the last time FC Portlands U13 Navy group won a State Cup? NWSL? Any regional cup?
Seems every year FCs batch of kids runs at the bottom, then turn around a year later with an ECNL patch on their arm claiming to be the better than everyone else in the state because now they are getting beat by better teams that live in other states and paying five times as much to do so. I don't get it.

Take it easy. They are kind of stressed today. Trying to get wins this weekend so that they can come on here and brag to the "low information people". Right now, what some are claiming as "just the facts" don't agree with the actual evidence.

The 01 ECNL team is much improved from two years ago when they were playing pre-ecnl in OYSA (which is what you are referring to). There have been a lot of players come over from THUSC, WT.FC, etc... that have replaced some of the previous roster and they are doing much better.

They dumped a bunch of players from that roster and brought in players developed at other clubs and are now better.

They would be third in OYSA premier now. Big step up.

That should help. Keep on culling players and bringing in new one and it will continue to improve.

So at U14 FC Portland starts cutting the players who developed there and bringing in TA players? Makes sense if they want to get better.

If GDA comes and all top Alliance girls go there.. ECNL will be a watered down mess.

It's what they call development. Why do you think they try so hard on here? They think their name calling (Ghillsboro or Vantucky, etc) and minimizing of others will trick parents into moving players moving over. I think it has nearly run its course.

It will be interesting to see how the 04s play out. Will all the top players scatter into the wind across two ECNL teams and one GDA team to play on watered down teams, or will a top group snub the system and go rogue like the 03s at GPS?

Nobody want the terrible GDA structure. No high school sports. No social life. Super expensive.

Boys love it. High School soccer is Rec.

Boys don't have to pay. Girls do.

High School soccer is a joke. There are reasons to not play in the GDA, but not doing so for high school soccer is ridiculous.
