For sure - we had a floating goal against us that literally hovered in the air. Kids on the field who were moving were ok but just standing on the sidelines was tough. College coaches probably had it the worst if they had to out all day. Still a good tournament to shake off the winter rust

Unless they have a specific player in mind, college coaches seldom venture out before 10 and after 3. Nor do they venture out if it's cold and/or wet, or too hot. So, getting randomly scouted by college coaches at any event is kind of a Goldilocks scenario.

Clubs need to educate the Parents on this. Very little blind recruiting going on. Coach sees a nice player, reaches out and she's a C+ student with 800 boards. Everyone's time wasted.

The list of college coaches on the Girls' side was pathetic. One coach was supposed to see my kid play but something came up and they didn't attend. Yep, the something that came up was a forecast of 25 degree temperatures and 30 mph wins. This tournament sucks. Every year it's either canceled due to snow or played in awful conditions. They need to do it later in the Spring or cancel this event.
