Well, isn't that special. Every practice will be like a track meet, with the accidental introduction of a soccer ball...sometimes.

Yeah, but they only get one touch before he makes them give it back so they can keep chasing it.

U10 coach that is good and not a d bag?

OP here. So who is good and not a major douche? Daughter is well behaved and focused. Loves soccer and is a hard worker. Pretty good player for her age.

Northeast United: solid club, been around for a long time, some UCONN players as coaches.

OP be careful. If you read TS long enough you'll see every club torn down and criticized. The truth is each club has its pros and cons; there is no villain club nor an angel club. Just clubs with varying strengths and weaknesses and at this point now that you have some names you need to be calling and visiting them, as well as talking to other parents in real life, not TS.

^^^ask around locally. Don't rely in TS. Ask to attend some practices before tryouts start. It gives both sides a better chance to evaluate each other. While you're there talk to club parents and ask questions

I second that. Good at teaching individual skills. Has had many players move onto college, high level club, ECNL etc. Good example of finding a coach and not a club. AFC teams overall are pretty weak but he's solid. If you live proximate to them its a good option at that age. No need for significant windshield time with the kids are in elementary school.
