The ECNL results speak for themselves. Sad day indeed. Poor Portland.

Really? How so? Sad? Dear god, what's the worst that will happen? Ecnl fold? Mighty Oregon clubs not having a home? Get a life already. Results in ECNL don't deny your DD from college exposure. D1 coaches were at Liberty today. WA teams are in the same bracket as Oregon. With the dysfunction and watered down teams in Oregon, I think results are looking good enough all things considered except for one team. Will ecnl still be around in a few years? Who knows? Who cares? Find a path that works best for your kid that balances development and exposure (sure some have financial restrictions). Regardless of club performance, obviously Oregon parents are figuring things out. Relax a little and enjoy the process. Closed minded attitudes close doors for your DD. My best advice is don't stick with just one club. Find a balance. And please, don't pick on other kids and their choices. Pretty sure we can find 'sad' things about your team and club.

Prediction - Crossfire ECNL folds... all those players move to GDA.

          Fixed it for you.

Bingo. Jealousy & fear take over too many parents. Just do what makes your dd happy and be happy.

While the Oregon ECNL teams are mostly losing all of their games, there are important lessons that can be learned from this. Humility, Perseverance, etc. Also to see that it requires really hard work to be successful.

Absolutely correct! Our GPS 03 team propels after each game win. Nothing ecnl probably even knows about. Obviously our training sessions are better quality since we are producing wins over and over again. Ecnl is afraid of us as are all OYSA teams. Too bad we can't have our girls in more than one age bracket or even the boys bracket! Go GPS 03!!!!

This is hilarious. Every thread has the same poser stalking 13 year olds. Did you have a rough day at the office, or did your team not play as well as you hoped? I am guessing both.

Worried much? Better get used to it. Nationals for our 03s should be humbling to all you clubs who are dissing on us!

Crossfire and FC Portland lose again. Wow. Look at Crossfire 03s..played 8 games.. 1 win (against FC Portland) 6 losses and one draw. Ouch.

You don't get better this way. not even close. Goal scorers don't learn how to score goals, midfields don't know how to create goals, defenders don't learn how to stop goals.

Yada yada yada yada. So playing in and scoring a ton of goals against OYSA teams would be better? Thanks, but no thanks. We all get it. ECNL is not for everyone. I'm not here to tell you it is.

There go those rankings that were being bragged about a couple months ago.
