Equally possible that she has decided she wants different things out of life, like an education and a good paying job after graduation. Who the heck knows?

One still has to wonder what made her choose to transfer to that particular college and not one that seems more in line with schools where NT players go.

Give me a break with that mentality of schools where only NT players go. That is a ridiculous concept. There are plenty of kids playing at D1 schools all across the country that are just as good and just as worthy of making the NT pools. If that is US soccer's approach to only select players from certain so-called "NT only" schools, then they are missing the boat completely and it is no wonder that the rest of the world is catching up and surpassing the US.

At the end of the day, what the NT is about is being in the group of THE best players in the entire world. The margins for that are incredibly slim and once you get to that level it is not a not a terrible sin to get passed over. Its more of an ego hit than anything. Some of the POV in this discussion is sort of like criticizing a player for not getting elected to the hall of fame. Rather silly when just being in the conversation is an amazing feat.
MA is a great player that is winding down towards the end of her college soccer career. Undoubtedly she has many options available to her so is everyone so sure they understand where she herself wants to go and that her personal goals absolutely include the US National Team? That group isn't exactly a bed of roses and sunshine and there might actually be more attractive options for a player of MA's ilk out there that she is trying to set up with this move.
