Let me try and explain it to you in the most simplistic form. Obviously, you have a hard time comprehending. I didn't say that "It's silly that ECNL won't let NEFC in because they...would probably bring an ECNL National Championship back to MA."

You're probably an idiot because you pieced two different points together to distort what I wrote. The first point was the league would be stronger with NEFC in it, and the second point was it would be great for MA soccer if they brought home a National Championship. How difficult was it to comprehend and why did you piece two different points to make it look completely different than what was originally written?

What's there like 2-3 original BB players?

Of course, the rosters of most teams evolve over time. But that doesn't change the fact that the formation of NEFC (as well as the way in which it happened) blew some pretty big holes in the Scorps girls youth academy system. Few would dispute that it led to a more difficult road for the Scorps on the south shore, and some would argue that the struggles that Breakers face in ECNL now at certain age groups are evidence that recovery from that episode is not yet complete.

Aside from the fact female youth soccer isn't professional adult male sports, how would you know that? When have the NBA, NHL, MLB or NFL played outside their leagues?

But if you do want to address professional sports, try soccer where it's proven time and time again that the next level down can indeed compete with the top levels.

That has to be the biggest load of sh!t I have read in some time. Because a team left a club 5 years ago, Scorpions are still struggling???? Do you know how idiotic that sounds? You need to move on an realize that the product Scorpions offers is not what it used to be. You have young inexperienced coaches. You have a DOC who doesn't know how to coach older ages and is extremely difficult to work with, so you're left with more people moving to NEFC or Stars and SSS in some cases. Don't blame one group of girls from 5 years ago for your continued demise. That was going to happen irrespective of a team leaving. JMO.

Think what you want, but it was the Scorps A teams at more than one age group that went to NEFC. If you're going to argue that replacing the loss of complete A teams is as simple as promoting the B team in their place, then you must not subscribe to the "club soccer environment is watered down" theory that your club is known for stating so often on these pages.

Think of it this way: If CT suddenly decided to run off with the 15 Elites, would the 15 Premier team be able to pick right up where they left off? How long would it take them to attain the level of play of which the current Elite team is capable? Would they ever actually get there? Would good players in search of a new team be more likely to come to try outs for the recently promoted B team, or would they be more likely to aim for the former Elite team that was moved?

The teams that were moved from the Scorps, although younger than in the example above, were the A teams for a reason, and when all those players went to NEFC, the Scorps talent pool was the poorer for it. Not so hard to comprehend, is it?

Get ready for the bashing to begin. No one leaves on their own accord there, ya know? They wanted him out... Blah blah blah. It's coming.

He is a damn good coach, but from what I heard, he saw the writing on wall with region merger. He wanted to go. Good luck to him.

Stop will you, the bottom 50% of ECNL teams are horrible just look at the stats. NEFC u15 Elites who play in NPL consistently beat ECNL teams. The PDA showcase this weekend won't even allow cross-over games with ECNL & non-ECNL teams because they're afraid the ECNL teams will get embarrassed. The ECNL has some very good teams but so does NPL and Region 1/National League.

Keep living in your fantasy-land, moron. There aren't crossover games because the ECNL is playing league games, bright boy. Afraid of being embarrassed....yeah, right.

You got some bad information--as simply looking at the schedule would confirm. Maybe you meant ECNL and non-ECNL clubs, not teams.

Laughable. Same difference. Playing a fellow ECNL club's Second side proves the earlier poster's point. Hard to be able to credibly claim superiority when you actively hide from opportunities to play outside your own hand picked environment. Especially at showcases and tournaments.
