page right from FCB - add players midseason(from FCB) who the parents from FCB said girl was a marginal player, have a showcase so put in low bracket based on our record, play a team who has not played NO games in league play...quality showcase...don't think so

If marginal means plays the same position as BB daughter Than yes she was marginal
Some spots are politically protected so moving on was only option No chance given to outplay

Both GAL and ECNL need to be completely revamped - such a disparity in the competition from the teams leading each league and average or lower teams in each league - there is such a thing as saturation and this is what is clearly happening - stop bashing each league and use the GAL leadership forum "We the players" to make those changes - ridiculous that there can't be more local showcases for each region and families have to spend too much money and time traveling to these showcases

The problem is that when GAL clubs and top players keep jumping to ECNL it’s very hard to revamp. You just have to survive and grab any club to plug holes in order to even have a viable league. It’s a shame as it will be an uphill battle. On the other hand ECNL is more stable and can/should revamp instead of trying to destabilize GAL and put them out of business. Unfortunately it’s a bit of pay back for what the USSDA tried to do to ECNL a few years ago.

It may be ridiculous to some but how people spend their money is their choice, and you know what you are signing up for if you choose to join an ECNL or GAL club.

For years Ukies developed good young players only to lose them to an ECNL club when they wanted exposure. Now that Ukies is in GA they can keep and attract those kids who desire exposure and offer them a platform for national showcases. In this area it gives people another option - and let’s face it neither bucks or Delco are killing it in ECNL. Ukies also has their own facilities including a turf field, clubhouse and bar and they are also building a second turf. The future is looking bright.

A "viable league" is any one where you have customers willing to pay. Last I checked, both ECNL and GAL have no shortage of willing customers happy to write big checks for youth soccer. Having options is a good thing - competition amongst clubs and leagues is a good thing

2nd to bottom bracket and only scored 2 goals team certainly not dominating and obviously a very weak bracket

It may be ridiculous to some but how people spend their money is their choice, and you know what you are signing up for if you choose to join an ECNL or GAL club.
