Does not matter, getting clearance is not that hard. Just need to confirm they are not on the books of another club. They do have faxes and computers in Africa

I bet the boys from Ghana and Ivory Coast are shaking in their boots.
They may not have a chance. They may only look at players who are or will register at the school. Which costs big $$$[/QUOTE
Nothing changes. Pay for play at its best. Maybe the good old boy model will be gone but realistically the da in central Fl will be gone as well. There are talented players scatters around the area and none of them will get a true DA chance in this model. MV doesn't develop players they buy them from poor areas of the world at later ages like u15 and above. Dark days for youth development in our backyard for sure.
I don't think they buy any players. Pretty sure those Africans come from wealthy families who want them to attend school in the USA.

OCYS always finds a way to squeeze money out of parents. They video tape games, but to get access to your highlights, you have to pay a fee. Always another fee.

What does MV get out of scholarshiping those players? Other than a better team?

At least they scholarship the best players they can find, not like OCDA that tries to promote their favorites that are not that good over better players.
