    Crossfire challenge

tough weekend for Oregon teams. Especially the ones that recruited the heck out of the area. Even when you have the best athletes you are still mediocre when you have an average coach with little structure and no curriculum.

It's awesome to start a thread to flame on your kid's friends. I am surprised you didn't sign your name at the end so we could all give you high fives on the sideline for your insight. You rock! Let's see who laughs last. Not by wins and losses our kids have at a young age but by developing and growing up to be successful people.

The same people would complain about the low level of competition if any Oregon teams won.

It appears that the separation of LASC and the F Bombs is complete. Not sure who got custody of the millionaire soccer dad.

LASC didn't do too badly in Beaverton Cup. Didn't win first anywhere, but came in second in at least one age group.

they looked terrible at Crossfire Challenge. They are behind and I'm afraid that these parents will be extremely unhappy in a couple of years. There is so much more to the game then what this coach teaches.

In the 07 gold bracket of the B Cup, the ADF team beat the LASC team ( and an overmatched Hillsboro team), but got beaten by Copa, and curb-stomped by North Bay. (Dayum... Those u9 and u10s from NBT are good....)

yes it was a brutal weekend for ADF. word from a couple parents is that the coaching staff melted down throughout the weekend, and this summer has already been labeled the "trail of tears"

I saw them play at multiple age groups and what I saw and you're indicating are two completely different things.

They are extremely talented in three age groups (2004/2005/2006) - likely the most talented groups individually in the Northwest. However, they will short themselves on the results if they don't create a defined style of play. The Washington teams were not nearly as talented as they were by any means, but more efficient at this point in the year. Apparently, it was only their first tournament and I know they got better and better throughout last year.

                          Time will tell.

I did hear they're adding staff from Brazil.

There is no coaching staff. They are technical trainers not coaches. Those kids are not learning the game. They are learning to be FreeStyle players. They are missing out
