You clearly don't know that Winco is an ESOP and many employees who have worked there for 25+ years own millions in stock. Many of them have never made more the 60k a year. I know a lot of college grads who have made a lot more than that and don't have anywhere near that big of a nest egg. And our former neighbor was a bakery manager for years for Safeway. Moved on to store manager for a few years. When he retired his tax bill on his stock sale was $2mm. You might want to rethink your example.
