Oh, so in other words just like Portland ECNL.

      All the best.
Yeah, like not wining OYSA and crushing the Silver Division at the Vegas Cup? And that was the 'good' age group, the younger one is horrid.

Thorns track record is atrocious. Mid pack OYSA. Mid pack fwrl. Crash and burn in silver division of tournaments on age.

The Thorns Academy sucks because more top players chose the better league, ECNL.

Of course with the advent of the DA most top players will now be choosing the Thorns, I know we are and so are the other families we have spoken with.

I don't know who you handful of insane weirdos are that have this irrational loyalty to acronyms, be it ECNL or TA or anything else, but most parents and players don't give a flying F which league or club they are playing for, they just want the madness to stop and for there to be a structure with one destination area where the best can go to compete.

That was the ECNL for a moment, but now is certainly going to be the DA.

Too expensive. Too restrictive. Girls want to enjoy high school experience and the GDA will eat all that up. There are no national team players in Oregon, except one every 5-10 years.
