Well, they better put up some huge blow outs and run the table or it will be a disappointment. Let's hope for better results than the 01 and 02 odp friendship cup where Oregon was beaten up pretty badly.

Yes. And that was against competition way worse than ECNL level. The whole Thorns DA thing will crumble before they ever play their first game.

Couldn't get into Crash or Balloon Fest so this was best alternative.

Thorns added basically the entire roster to ODP Regional Camp. Didn't have enough players to field teams for Crossfire. Keeps the families happy with their girls going to regional camp & blowing out teams at Beaverton Cup. Smart.

Thorns 01 would run 5-0 on any of the ecnl teams at that age. You could combine them and they would still lose

Ecnl coaches Are scared. Seems that tier 3 ecnl schedule losing against idaho 5-0 is enough to tell the oregon ecnl teams that they would be embarrassed playing in state teams.
