Apparently you are the only one on TS that attended the event. Anything to share besides the malfunctioning voting clickers? Was the tryout date moved back to the end of May? Any mention of the FSPL collapse or the State Cup draw mess up from last year?

Tryout dates stayed the same as this year . FSPL wasn't mentioned which leads me to believe wasn't the big deal you made it out to be . A group of DOC from 6 clubs are going to report back to FYSA to recommend changes to State cup seeding.

So here is what happened at the AGM:

                    - Rule 401.6 (Tryouts) was changed. All clubs will now officially hold tryouts on the following Monday after the completion of the Florida State Cup Round of 16. So this puts it at the end of April/ beginning of May depending upon the calendar.

                    - Great Workshops and a huge exhibit hall.

                    - The clickers were not working properly because clubs were not pressing the buttons.

                    - A new VP of Competition was voted in. Shenoy Raghuraj from Region A got the vote.

                    - FSPL has a brand new committee.

                    - State Cup will have recommended changes to the seeding by the end of the year.

Such a joke since PBG hired all the remaining FC Florida coaches from DA operations and top flight girl teams. Then, PBG paraded around that they were a DA club without US Soccer approval. If the existing DA clubs were smart, they would vote against the proposed merger and seek to isolate FC Florida away from Palm Beach Gardens Predators since they are vastly under qualified to field a DA program. PBG is too new and unproven without any pedigree teams or coaches.
It is amazing with all the great intentions of the PBG leadership
and impartial and tireless execution of their well thought out vision that some people just won't stop their whining. PBG is head and shoulders the best club in the county
and top three in South Florida. Deal with it.
