Kickball and press only works for so long. They literally played it back to some girl who would kick it long in hopes that the girl up to would score. They scored two goals in the first two minutes that way. That's how they beat us. Fair and square.

Our team did play like crap and having 18 kids on our roster certainly doesn't help. 11v11 is a totally different game and Pipeline will have big troubles like all of it's other teams moving into 11v11.

Enjoy relishing in our loss(es). That's only going to last a couple more months. Mark my words.

So what caused the defense to breakdown if it was only 1 girl who scored? This can’t be the only time a team pressed? Why wouldn’t the coach have the team prepared for this tactic? Sounds like the team isn’t prepared very well or coached up to play with any sort of pressure on the ball.
