If only PDA would recruit GA players. National championship bound.

You people are really pathetic and have no idea about soccer. You never grew up playing, you never attended a professional match and no concept or understanding about soccer. Now your all experts about soccer. Quite laughable and pathetic at the same time. All because in your narrow focus minds that both PDA and Rutgers has passed on your daughters. As far as tonight’s game they played against a top 10 ACC team for 120 minutes. Well done and well played. The outcome is what it is but the experience for every Rutgers player who played and was on the sidelines was amazing. The players should be proud. They are among the select few who were able to participate in NCAA D1 playoffs. Very few have that chance and they should be proud of the 120 minutes of competitive soccer.

Why does Rutgers only limit their recruiting to PDA? Why not tap into the best other leagues have to offer? They really limit themselves snd it showed tonight.

Limited themselves? 90 full minutes plus two overtime’s vs. a top 10 ACC team and they limited themselves?

Stop it Mom. They were lucky it was Clemson. FSU would still be running circles around them.

THIS. And one is not a PDA player.

All true, but i thought the bar was higher than that. Clemson finished 5th in the ACC. Top 10 nationally? If you believe rankings then sure. Clemson and Rutgers are similar except Clemson have better players. Similar physical defensive style. Was always going to be close. Neither team is exciting to watch, but if winning games is the only bar, then both show you a way to do it with effort, grit and very little risk.

                  Dear Mrs Soccer Mom,

The fact is that the real depth in the college game ends around the top 5 to 6 teams. Rarely are there significant upsets in the tournament. The “few selected”. Really not that impressive.

Number 14 and the lost to every quality team. Florida State, Duke, Carolina. Clemson is a tier 2 team as is Rutgers.

More impressive than your crappy academy that is probably jealous of MO, PDA and Rutgers. That’s why the GA clubs from NJ will never get into ECNL, constant inferiority complex when it comes to PDA.

The above statement tells you everything you need to know about the NJ Soccer landscape. That #14 ranked ACC Clemson in this persons opinion is a “tier 2 team”. 99.9% of the thousands of players in this State are not good enough for either program. Comments such as if Rutgers took players from other leagues. Comments about PDA and the coaches. Just vengeful, spiteful, angry parents. Just sad anonymous people who can’t enjoy their daughters for who they are rather than want you want them to be.

Rankings are what they are, but in a year with no non conference play, pretty meaningless. You can’t claim greatness and then settle. Pick one and be consistent. Rutgers are a solid team, but not in the top tier year in year out. It’s ok. Only a few programs are

Any team can lose games. Clemson are very similar to Rutgers but have better athletes.

Rutgers are a P5 Conference BIG TEN. That is a top tier conference. What bothers these posters is that there are only 30 spots on PDA Blue in which 99.9% of NJ players are just not good enough which is very telling about college choices for these players if you consider Rutgers a lower tier choice. The facts are what they are if Rutgers chooses to go with the best players in the State who choose Rutgers. But then again your smarter than the average parent when it comes to soccer.
