If you go to an ID camp and they like the kid, they will make a sweet offer to join PDA.

Maybe 1 recent player came from WC but used to come to training with PDA/R frequently

It's self-fulfilling. If you lived somewhere that was near CSA, PSA, STA, etc, you also live within driving distance to PDA. And if you wanted to play for Rutgers, why would you decide to play club anywhere else other than PDA, where the Rutgers head coach would see you and maybe work with you every week?

They also have kids on roster from Stallions, IF they like you, they like you, no matter the badge. Goldmine really for MO as he can watch these kids grow and lessen the mistakes other coaches make on their choices as they do not have the luxury to dissect their picks 24/7 for years.

The kid from World Class is arguably the best player at her age in the country. National team kid from go.

He has more money to spread around and keep the best kids in state. The whole 2025 recruiting class is from PDA and he coaches most of them.
Most of the best kids? Believe what you will. Rutgers are a top 20 type program. The very best NJ kids can get full rides at premium schools.

This is one of the worst things about soccer in the USA. At his/her age ...Its largely irrelevant from jump, but at her age, even more so.

Why is this the worst thing about soccer in the USA? Is she not the best player at her age in the country?? She could be freshman of the year quite easily which means at the very least she’s in the discussion for best player in the country for her age (19?). Also she has been a national team player at every age from u14 on up and probably made every camp as well. Not sure I understand your point.

This argument is like every other narrow focus argument. She is very talented player for sure. Before you give the award maybe you should watch matches in the PAC 10, ACC, SEC. There are many talented freshman around the country not just NJ.

She is no longer measured against her age. Now, you measure players based on what they can do in College. Lets give her some time. Lets forget this ranking nonsense and just enjoy her and others playing a TEAM game.

She is 19. She is swimming with the bigger fish now and has been trying to for a while.
