I think there will be more promotion/relegation going on moving forward. They've been busy trying to save the league the last few years, but now that GAL is not really a threat they can focus on making improvements

      Blaming grass for losing? lmao

I think GAL and EDP should merge and institute pro/rel. Both are sanctioned by USYS.
        Compete on merit.

            1) that makes too much sense
            2) too many egos involved with GAL to let it happen

Doubt it. If they played in the ECNL game that day, they can’t play in the ECNLR game. Can’t have a kid on both game rosters in the same day.

The 07 CFC ecnl 1 game was canceled. So scorpions had players available.

Scorpions better check the league rules. Technically, any ECNL player that played in the ECNLR game can’t play in the rescheduled ECNL game against CFC. Doesn’t matter if the games are on different days.

Why would EDP split the pie? They ready do that. Gal needs everyone apparently as they can't do anything new and innovative on their own.

So let me get this straight- scorpions pushed regional players aside to the bench to allow their ecnl “national” players to guest in a regional game in an attempt to get a win? Sounds like a scummy thing to do.

                          Is anyone actually keeping track?

That will be hilarious when it’s enforced. I’ll love to see the faces on the parent’s faces. “Wait, why can’t little Susie play? The coach didn’t tell us that!”

Yes that’s exactly what they did

It's a lousy thing to do, but Im guessing those kids aren't rostered or seeing the field on a league match.
