    EDP
it’s a desperate attempt at a whole lot of nothing.
    More town soccer.
The clubs involved are struggling to survive.
    GPS clubs under new names.

What are you waffling about? EDP has been around for over a decade.

Clearly the second best place to play now. Obviously ecnl is the top dog but edp is next at this point. Lots of levels of edp but what else is there. Npl is dead. Everything besides ecnl is not town soccer.

Top EDP brackets are quite good. ECNL level? of course not, but NPL is weaker than ever. Travel is very manageable. Below the 2nd level of drops off fast but EDP does promotion and relegation whichbis hownot should be.

I agree, EDP is taking over. US Club has ECNL but to the exclusion of everything else. NPL is dead. The NPL in NY has lost all their Club based teams to EDP. In MA they have taken a sizable chunk out of NEP. It’s only a matter of time.

Ecnl runs the gamut so I disagree. Plenty of top level EDP teams can beat plenty of ecnl teams.

Of course there's always variations and exceptions to rules. But if you're looking for good local competition EDP is a good option. Whatever you chose the coaching at your club matters more than the league. ECNL is tops for college coach exposure, however. EDP events get some coaches there but not a lot, and it's mostly just local schools.

                  ECNL
                  GAL
                  DPL

then EDP level 4 with 4th rate teams. Move along stop trying to sell a garbage league to clueless parents club owners!

with many EDP teams that readily beat GAL and DPL teams, even some ECNL teams. It's not clear-cut black and white, but lots of gray overlaps. All depends on what clubs you're considering in your area.

GAL hasn’t played a game yet. You can’t rank them anywhere right now. No one has any idea if this league will be quality or not with all the club and player movement after GDA shut down. So relax on naming them number 2. For now anyway.

Have to agree. GAL is a big question mark. Definitely losing players to ECNL. DPL also questionable because it’s filled with GAL B teams. I think the ECNL is big winner here. After that it’s going to be interesting who jockeys for 2nd. Can’t count EDP out, they are just too big.

I don't know if I'd say "plenty"...in my kid's age group, the top USYS/EDP teams are on par with bottom 3 ECNL teams. They'd get decimated by anything higher up the latter, and did the few times they faced each other.

Ha. This HAS to be the desperate cry of an OW coach. Love to see you dbags crying. Good riddance

Oakwood’s B teams are playing in EDP. No DPL in this region.

Funny stuff. No one left for b teams. Mass exodus
