What’s more interesting is that most clubs took the 150k-300k PPP small business loan during the closure. Check it out for yourself by searching the public docs for the State - town by town. For clubs without large overhead expenses with facilities, ALL spring funds should have been returned. Giving 10% back on a full year commit for the upcoming season (also unknown) is criminal.
Club owners should know by now that bad press (and bad soccer) can kill their brand.

Leave it to the govt to have 10 million people apply for loans instead of having 500 companies cover all of them. Anyway, I bet most of the clubs have 1099’s and probably returned that money. Why take on additional debt when it needs to be paid back quickly? That’s probably your answer.
