      A. How do you know that?

      B. NYSC may be getting a few players from CT, but the better CT players are heading to NYCFC.

No one is going to NY. The gravy train of CFC to college placement is solid enough. Why add additional commute time and hassle when they can milk that gravy train and possibility be higher ranked as ECNL get watered down a little.

ECNL will have a tough time marketing against this.....

Battle for players in CT: FSA/CFC versus OW/NYSC/NYCFC.
It just shows that woman's soccer is doomed now just like the men's team. They will not look for the best players but only the best players in their system.

If US soccer would stop complaining and actually do some hard work they will find talented players in the US at any location. In football and basketball the recruiters listen for stories of players that people have seen or heard of. They will then investigate these rumors and 9 out of 10 times they are just overblown stories. but there are many examples where this pans out and leads to an amazing player. However, in soccer they keep their recruiting in house and don't look for these amazing stories.

Sorry but some FC players are, for GDA and other clubs; boys also. That said, CFC and ECNL will be just fine. ECNL dodged a bullet in CT when USSF chose OW. Most ENCL parents don't see the club as being superior to what they're getting elsewhere and the league's benefits are yet unproven. That may shift over time but not anytime soon. Any FC player good enough to make NYCFC would be much better served doing that counter commute to a top club then humping up to Portland

I believe your math was incorrect sir.

04's U14 two losses for OW
03's U15 one win and a tie for OW

AND the Loomis waiver kids..... I mean excuse years
16/17 two losses for OW...... OUCH!!!
18/19 two losses for OW......DOUBLE OUCH!!!!!

                  SO that would be 1-1-6
BTW: Good luck vs Penn because all their players were forced up.....not true for the Breakers

Isn't that the whole point of GDA? Just try to funnel all good players into one place where it's really easy for (lazy? incompetent?) USSF scouts can find them? It's not about the training. It's about making life easy for people who are really bad at scouting players.

That and putting ECNl out of business. Those are their two main objectives.

There is a zero chance of the USSF ever putting the ECNL out of business.

We all know that but try telling that to USSF or GDA koolaid drinkers

I think there is a 60/40 chance that ECNL folds in 2 years.

But the Breakers are better than Oakwood. Did anyone expect the results to be different?

Are you high? The ECNL will never fold? Ask the clubs which they prefer? Too many horrible clubs in GDA. There will be clubs dropping out of GDA and coming back to ECNl and there will be no clubs leaving ECNL for GDA
