Absolutely not true.

The Boys ECNL clubs are made of the top NPL clubs from last year. NPL teams/clubs with an ECNL logo on their sleeve. Still the B league. The top, top kids are in the DA.

The Girls DA is made of last year's ECNL plus top NPL clubs. It's ECNL & top NPL teams/clubs now with a DA logo on their sleeve. ALL THE SAME, top college coaches still come to watch the "ECNL" kids, plus the new NPL kids.

Conclusion = GDA wins.

Boys ECNL clubs are made up girls ECNL clubs that have boys clubs. Not necessarily the best NPL clubs

The same applies to the GDAP. Absolute failure and poorly run. Coaches complaining about its disorganization and lack of amenities for the college coaches. Games were a low level. Many coaches will not be returning.

Both leagues should have left well enough alone.

If this was a girls tournament, this thread would be 50 pages long by now. My guess is that CFC has no leg to brag about with their boys program as much as they do about their girls program. Add in the fact that parents of girls teams are nuts (especially CFC parents).

Makes you wonder how come CFC are not as dominate on the boys side especially since they are utilizing and recruiting from the same model as they do with their girls.
