1. an OW assistant dad coach taking OW players over to FSA winter leagues under another team name to play
2. players heading to NEFC for trainings during the winter with a former coach that was let go
3. complaints about EB that have been going on for years and nothing being done about it
getting the only GDA badge for the state you would hope they'd clean this type of stuff up.

Ow is in the da, nobody else is, end of story. In 2 years ecnl will be a distant 2nd to the da, LA’s nefc West npl joke will be 3rd. She has failed.

The academy is going to serve the same niche that the current boys academy serves. Small rosters with split age that fulfill the soccer needs of about 9 or 10 boys per age group that are willing to commit to the program. meanwhile there is just as much talent outside the DA in CT as there is in it.
Its different on the girls side. The lion's share of the top girl's talent plays at CFCU (defined by girls committing to high level D1 schools) Do you really see that swinging completely the other way in a few short years?

If the younger talent at CFC and FSA starts showing up for GDA tryouts U14 and below I can see the shift happening very quickly. I think GDA and Oakwood become the top level of CT soccer in 2-3 years, as soon as CFCU sends their current ECNL girls off to college it is game, set, match.
