    BBA officially back to NEFC???

So it appears more and more that NEFC is dropping the Boston Breakers Academy name for good. The Boston Breakers Academy website is now gone, and redirected to NEFC website. The teams are all named NEFC in spring league schedules and tournaments. The only one still going by Boston Breakers Academy is the GDA team. It was only a matter of time, but it seems to be happening quickly, but more subtlety than expected. I wonder if there will be an official notice to players about the rebranding going back to NEFC, and if all the girls teams will be changing uniforms yet again next year???

Yup appears so. Hope they keep the uniforms for the second year of the contract. I like it, and hate to have to pay more now.

Our girls were told they will be Boston Breakers Academy next year, a founding member of the US Soccer Development Academy. Those girls are trailblazers, taking soccer in this country to the next level.

Blazing the trail all the way to the National Team! Including the subs that don't play much...

No, just taking soccer to the next level by training year-round

Can someone explain the Frontier Development League? It appears to be a bunch of Texas DA teams that allow outside competition and play. Did I read the article wrong?

You read it wrong. It is basically just a league to put their second teams. Think Pre-GDA. Unlike here, there are enough DA clubs within the area to form their own second team league. It’s similar in theory to what the Norrheast NPL used to be for ECNL clubs (before they decided to have ECNL B teams)

                  A third league. Cool.

"Pre-DA" is going to sell even better than "pre-ECNL" and "pre-Elite" has. LOL

For all the reasons pre-DA was a bust for boys, it may take off for girls. Girls who play or have to play HS or play basketball can get in 6 DA games.

Boston Breakers or NEFC enjoy the awesome travel to Empire, LISC, Pa Classics, Washington and Washington as well as NYSC. All pathetic clubs that you are wasting your time playing. Great league. Hahahahaha

Empire & LISC are true dogs. Didn’t play Washington, and NYSC & PA Classics are a bit stronger in some age groups.

Over in the ECNL, you guys get to go beat up Continental, World Class, FC Bucks, Match Fit and Albertson in most age groups.

Both teams have dogs and bottom feeders, and it sucks to travel to win easily. But don’t mock one league for it, without mocking the other.

Well at least the breakers pair the Classics game with penn fusion. That's good competition and makes the trip worthwhile. maybe in the future PA Classics will get better as well. They are one of the many clubs that the DA pulled in with no history of developing girls. But there is the Pulisic connection which got them in I would think.
