For the NE - is there now a third Boston area game to be played? How does that work? is there another trip to Boston or they will somehow all be combined?

Hellooo ECNL. We all need less travel and not more.

Still doesn't make sense, is one team ECNL and one NPL? Or legit two ECNL teams?

Not a member of Stars, but am familiar with many of their players from one age group. Their Northeast NPL team is on par with their ECNL team (they do play each other and have split the results, never more than a 1-goal game). I believe their thought was the NPL team was going to be the base of the GDA team, with others being added.

So, if this go as it sounds, I believe their ECNL team will stay as-is, and they need to determine if their Northeast NPL team stays as-is (where they are undefeated) or move into a second, equal, ECNL team.

Could mean another trip to Massachusetts. Enjoy :-)

ECNL has a lot of power now over clubs who have both GDA and ECNL. They can now go to them and ask them to pick. Wonder if Alby/FURY and WC/NYCFC will be pressured?

There is no pressure as they are separate clubs - on paper, anyway.

That’s complete bull and everyone knows it. Most importantly ECNL knows it.

ECNL will kick Alby out of league because they use PRs company to train their teams? Why? Players that want to go play for Fury will go play for Fury regardless of whatever club ecnl puts in their league.

Albertson SC will be just fine. They hired a complete staff for ECNL that has nothing to do with FC Fury NY.

While an ECNL source declined to confirm it explicitly, one youth soccer insider tells SoccerWire that Crossfire Premier and Reign/Seattle United* (Seattle area), Slammers (Southern California) and Eclipse (Chicago area) are also reconsidering their relationships with the Girls DA and may well depart entirely, too.

Also, Boston Breakers were given an ultimatum that they have to choose. Parent meeting today.

Full court press by ECNL and I don’t blame the. It’s best for their brand and could completely ruin GDA and take complete control from this arrogant organization (that has little reason to be arrogant).

                          Big PR push by ECNL

I have to give those guys a little props. You can't ask for more exposure right around tryout season. You have to expect the turnouts will be higher than normal for the ECNL clubs in NE. How can you be sure what the GDA will look like next year with other teams considering moving?

FC Stars, Michigan Hawks, PDA and More are ‘ALL-IN’ for 2018-19
RICHMOND, VA (April 19, 2018) – The Girls Elite Clubs National League is excited to announce that FC Stars, Michigan Hawks, and PDA will be “All-In” clubs in the league in 2018-19. These clubs place the ECNL as the aspirational training and development environment for all female players within the club, and at the top of their competitive pyramid.

Representing 3 of the most successful clubs in the history of American girls soccer, in both player development and competitive accomplishment, these clubs will join the incredible list of 79 “All-In” clubs across the country in the ECNL in 2018-19, with more still to come.

“The ECNL was created to serve players, coaches, and clubs within a holistic development environment that collaboratively raises standards in all aspects of the game,” said ECNL President Christian Lavers. “We are proud to have so many clubs totally committed to that mission. The ECNL and its member clubs will continue to lead innovation and improvement in youth club soccer, develop the next generation of collegiate stars and national team players, and support the success of US Soccer’s national teams.”

Five core values define the ECNL’s mission to “Raise the Game,” and powerfully drive forward the league’s player-centric philosophy:

Just heard a huge local rumor that allegedly will be announced very soon. Cannot confirm so I don’t want to post gossip, but has anyone heard anything that they can confirm? It’s about GDA/ECNL.
