FSA must be a very good team...they also beat FC Stars 14-0 the next day.

Good news is that Bolts beat CFC the next day.

Ummm, I could be wrong but isn't the Bolts U13 team that plays in the MLS league their top team. Unless clubs have a lot of depth, a 2nd team in ECNL probably isn't going to do great against another strong club's top team.

It's hard to tell if the parents are becoming overly defensive or overly judgmental; perhaps they're the same thing. It makes me wonder what the adults are actually fearful of.

ECNL for boys, at least in New England, is dumb. There simply isn't enough talent to justify that kind of travel for what is, at best, a second league. There was a lot of dislocation this fall and it is understandable that there was a flight to perceived quality at the Bolts.

Agreed, ECNL is NE is just not worth it. The quality is not much better than NPL.

If your kid does not make or doesn't want to play MSL/DA, you're better off with NPL as there is way less travel.

its all about money bolts and the 3.8k per 2000 kids - of which about 30 maybe can play and rest are scary bad- parents love the cool-aid
