all 03 kids are stuck. the ncaa is allowing kids an extra year of eligibility so they are all in trouble.

Bad for borderline D1 players. Not bad for D3 . Think thats only D1 payers. Most D3 won't pay for another semester if they are graduating in spring. Unless they do graduate school at same college maybe.

Plenty of D1 players are paying something as well. Full free rides are rare. Paying to stay longer if you've qualified to graduate makes little sense unless like you said grad school was already in the plan. These aren't players aiming for the NFL or NBA.

4 excellent academic schools there. Only a fool would commit to a Div 1 w/ poor academics simply for soccer.

Chicago, John Hopkins, Tufts, Williams, Middlebury is filled with nationally ranked ecnl recruits

If the school and soccer is a great fit for that student athlete that is what matters. It's not a strong school for soccer or academics compared to others, but maybe the right fit for her. In the end that is what matters.

There are non public high school starters on all NESCAC rosters except Williams.

The only exclusive aspect is that you get to stroke a 73k for remote learning
