Club soccer trash talking is funny as U-little.
It really doesn’t matter until hs ages and that’s when the big 3 take control of the scene.
    Thanks for the banter though!
It's boring when they get older because the discussion gets limited to very small numbers.

I'm not sure you can argue that the Big 3 is even a thing for much longer. No serious player is choosing oakwood in re-tread experimental league unless they get denied by the ECNL clubs

As far as the trash talking, at least FSA and CFC play which means even less trash talking later on.

And We all know Ginga 2007 lost their two best players last year.

A 2006 and 2007 ct crate tourney with everyone would be an eye opener. I don’t think the Ecnl teams would win either age group.
Good riddance to the loudmouth parents. You can have those 2 kids

Stud? ha! 2 years up in GAL she will be an OK player. She would be a stud if she were playing age appropriate.

She is the best player at Oakwood 05 and under hands down. They can’t waste her on the bad 2007 team

Tx dad. Not saying much. She'd be the best at soccer viza too up to 03.

Ginga vs fsa 2007 Ecnl was a 1-1 tie. Pretty funny still.

And anyone using the term the big 3 has to be an oakwood parent trying to hold on for dear life. No such thing as the big 3. Oakwood is at best on par with Ginga Yankee and sporting now. If oakwood was smart they wouldn’t play any of those teams either. They wouldn’t have any players left at all if they did

best player from 05 down???? are you out of your mind!!!!!! she needs to learn how to play the game now.... its not like when she was 10 and 40 pounds heavier than everyone else where she plowed through kids half her size. girls are the same size now or will be soon. you know what maybe she is the best 05, and that's only because daddy is paying an 05 OW coach for personal training on the side.....

There is no separation between Oakwood, CFC and FSA. At different age groups it varies a little. Overall, they are all the same. Several of the smaller clubs like Ginga, Sporting and Rush are closing the gap and can now compete. As clubs continue to fold and merge the levels will get tighter. Parents will be looking for value and they are finding it at other clubs now.

Nope. CFC is well ahead with FSA and OW in 2nd and 3rd, but closer to each other, some age groups better than others. Those other clubs can only compete on occassion and only U14 and under. After that their few decent players jump to the top 3 clubs and their teams cannot compete.

In 2 weeks we will see the matchup CFC vs FSA U12,13,14. That will put an end to that debate.

Not so much - not all are "united" for CFC and it's fall/new teams. Spring is the true test along with league performance. On the latter FSA is almost always behind CFC against the same competition. It's rare FSA ever has a team of CFC in teh league and when they are it's still very close.

As one poster would say it's razor thin.

The reality is that CFC always wins the club head to head and finishes ahead in the standings in most if not all age groups.

                          I wouldn't put stock in U12 games. That's a branch team still

CFC is getting much better. Get rid of the 2003 team and the club is solid. At U13 CFC is all Fairfield county the North girls don’t join until U14. Usually a tough fall for U14 teams as this is their 1st time together as a team. FSA is in trouble though. Losing players and coaches is not a good look

Come on the CFC 2006 team is terrible. They have like one win in two years. And the 2007 CFC team isn’t in the top 3 in the state.

06 looking much better this year with 7 new players. Not sure where your getting the information on 07. They did well in ECNL last year and also gained a number of new players.

Obviously you’re out of the loop.
