The NEP has earned all the anger that is getting louder and louder from parents. This season will not be the end of the league but the resentment is real and it will be lasting. If they publicly made the slightest effort to fight back against these moronic rules then they could really change some minds. Instead they remain silent.

NEP has dozens and dozens of teams playing good, competitive games against real opponents. EDP has kids playing other teams in their own club, except for a few.

The big issue in NEP is the NPL teams that are back in the Premiership level. There's still some competitive games and its OK for this fall season, but that probably needs to be sorted out.

All the league management deserves to be kicked out for creating this mess with the leagues. They all have blame for this, every single one including NEP.

Look at any bracket in NEP. It’s the same . NEFC vs NEFC. Seacoast vs Seacoast , etc. etc. etc.

My kid's NEP bracket has 8 teams from 5 clubs. Not ideal, but decent competition. Luckily does not have the RI CT issues.

Same in the NECSL/EDP. Our bracket has a variety of teams. I couldn’t care less even if it wasn’t. So long as we are playing different teams/ regions, who the hell cares what they call themselves. The level of competition is the only thing that matters, and it suits our team and what we need to develop into solid players.
