non profits have by state statute certain standards they must meet to make sure they are running a legal raffle, and not illegal gambling. They, the club did not meet various statute requirements. manning the raffle illegal.

It seems as if most teams have their coaching assignments in order and posted....What's going on Kendall, don't have enough commitment from coaches yet.
Fields suck, DOC's (both) suck, pay sucks????

Won't happen thats why the DOC stays. And not surprised to hear about the prez and the mistakes. Not qualified just trying to help her kid keep on the academy.

wait and see if the presidents sons name comes up or the long list of players from the pre academy. Then lets see if he makes the short list. then you will know if it helped that she was there.

He should stick to DOC and fix the program. he thinks just because the 00's are doing well he'll bring them up and make a winning team. wrong look at the competition at that level. it is so low. Which coaches are leaving?

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostYes it is possible. The club is having issues with viable candidates, the USSDA demands B licensed coaches or better to coach an academy team. One of the most qualified coaches in the state of Florida has left the club for a New jersey pro team to head coach it is a pdl division team, and he is known for developing young players, having done so with the likes of Hulk, and David Luis (U18-23) in their respective teams in Brazil. I don't blame him after Kendall demoted him from his u14 Academy team the previous year with two weeks to go, and gave it to a former player from Honduras who could not even keep a head coaching position in his country... a country not known for being a powerhouse...replacing Chiquinho a Fifa professional Licensed coach with impeccable credentials(head coach on several div1 and 2 teams in brazil). The directors of this club do not have a brain between the bunch of them. They are only directors to push their kids onto the Academy teams, whether they are qualified or not. That is why you have two unqualified directors of coaching who have never done anything in the world of soccer. The main director an x college player without an idea about player development or talent evaluation. Both coaching directors know where their bread is buttered and that is why you see all the "right" people making the Academy teams. It is a shame you lose a coach with the gravitas and bona fides of a Francisco da Assis
and retain 2 directors who have neither.
