They are the best club in Oregon right now.

Thorns U19 is good and has several top players. Thorns U17 is hurting and wouldn’t be very competitive even in oysa, much less against ecnl or gps. However, Thorns U17 gets to play out of state teams (some very good some not very good) which is way more exciting than playing the same old oysa teams. Any path can work for individual girls so pick one and be happy. Pros and cons to each path.

So which DA clubs is bad in the NW Conference, besides the Thorns.

I am not sure, but the Thorns have a negative goal differential for all three DA teams.

The benefit of playing a 10 month season and skipping HS for the Thorn's U17 crew is that they get to play most of the teams (some good and some not so good) three times.

How about you provide some examples to back up your claim that CU never tells the truth.

Otherwise, you sound like a bitter petty person with an axe to grind anonymously.

Should probably mention that final 4 teams in 6a had CU kids all over the field. Some pretty good players and kids....

There was only 1 team in the final of 6A Girls Soccer.

There were 50 6A (HS) also ran's teams or what you could affectionately call finalists.

Jesuit ran all over all comers

Losing by 8 to 10 goals is not something pretty good players ever do.

Mediocre mess at HS these dayz.

Is your conclusion that it is mediocre because a handful of above average players play for the Thorns?

Clackamas has 8-10 college players on their roster. I would say they are pretty good.

How about an example from yesterday, Crossfire United dropped the ball by not holding a signing day ceremony

Title IX is something we celebrate everyday.

Clubs have nothing to do with NLI.

Hey you can make fun of Title IX all you want, but without it a lot of really bad soccer coaches in the area would need to find new jobs at Costco. Thank your lucky stars coaches.

Didn’t ecnl players score all the goals for Jesuit? Why so bitter about ecnl? Thorns girls DA has some top players too but only a few on each team. Talent is spread all over but most concentrated at Jesuit this year. Clackamas has quite a few too. Enjoy whichever path you choose. Constantly knocking a successful program only makes you look foolish.
