Disagree. Top club for aggregating it. Development may well start elsewhere. No that it matters. People need to realize development takes many forms on and off the field. No single entity is responsible for it. The big clubs and leagues take credit for it to promote themselves.

Agreed everyone is on the development bandwagon. Any coach a kid has contributes to that development, including a players early years, current club coach, any fitness expert they worked with. Too many egos want to claim players for themselves when the reality is many voices and training techniques have contributed to a players growth. This means that a players current coach should recognize a players pathway, whether with them or not, but also that coaches who worked with players at a younger age have to accept that when a kid moves on and plays for a PDA for example that that environment and instruction probably aided a players tactical and physical improvement. Too many egos in youth soccer.

PDA gets good talent no doubt. But PDA then develops that talent and transforms it into actual D1 talent. They don’t arrive at PDA ready for D1, but many many leave fully ready for D1.

How many D1 college coaches watched the game?
At least one, the Lower Merion coach

You say this, but being ready for D1 is as broad a statement as you can make. If you are aggregating talent on the scale they are you better be. Ready for top 3 Pac-12 or top 4 ACC is vastly different from ready for Pitt or dare I say Rutgers. D1 is a very wide range of talents. Without naming any names, you think about who PDA have sent to a top level school recently who has been lights out? Exactly.

Great player. Not a ringing endorsement of PDA when you pick a GK though

Why not? Maybe one of the most technical positions on a team. You are very misinformed.

Spot on, the keeper is often the most technical position on the pitch. Have you seen the Man City keeper tremendous

Casey is a great shot stopper, not exactly Ederson when it comes to distribution. Great player but if you are evaluating a Club that is supposed to be as great as PDA i need a lot more than a GK.

Did all SC stallion teams leave STA?

As far as I know, only 1.

SC only had 3 at STA and 2 of those were not DA. He only had the 05 DA though many on this board give him credit for the whole program. Lots of chatter on here and at the club but seems as though only younger non DA teams are following him.

He helped build the 04 team as well. Stallions and WC DA kids.
