Assuming no miracle, we could be locked down and in masks for 3 years. Possibly 10 years or more. This is the new way of life.
It is possible to live a fulfilling life in lock down we just need to think differently. Sports can go online, like e-sports. Video conferencing will get better for high school and college. Groceries and supplies can be delivered.

Moderna is in phase 3 trials are set to begin on July 27th. If approved vaccine could be ready early 2021
Biontech start phase 3 trials in July, if approved 100 million doses by end of the year and 1.2 billion by end 2021
Lets hope it all works out, but at least it is hope.

So if you know much about the vaccine development process you might really question the efficacy of a rush job. So they push something out that has maybe a 30% efficacy rate, then what? Are we going to require that everyone take an "experimental" drug that possibly acts on their DNA?
