Offering and charging for two and then providing only one tournament is slimy business practice that is beneath FSA. But, oh, wait, you did it to your NPL teams when you pulled them out of Jeff Cup and sent ECNL instead, dint ya? Paid for 2 tourneys, got 1? Shame.

^ HS teams are supposed to be less than full year younger teams. They usually aren't half but about 1/3 less. $2400 for a state level HS team is a jip considering the quality of coaching and competition.

And if you're ECNL you get to pay for Sanford, only to have the club cancel attendance and go to Jeff Cup instead. Then the NPL teams get booted from Jeff Cup for MA instead. Everyone wins!

FSA State team provides an organized soccer experience at very nice facilities. The alternative is Sporting or AFC. Crappy field in Middletown or a swamp in Meriden with indoor on a basketball court.
There are plenty of low level tournaments for these teams to attend within easy driving distance of here.
As long as they aren't scrapping for players every weekend, I think this is reasonable. As the kids get older, low level club teams fall apart and end up pulling up u13s to play in U16 games. FSA's product seems competitive in the market.
