There really only 3 types of FC Bucks Parents -

(1) Parents with kids who are legitimate top players - D1 prospects - these are the families that usually leave FC Bucks by U16 for better run clubs, with better facilities, better coaches and better training and development.

(2) Parents with kids who are decent players - but no better or worse than the better players on EDP or NL teams. These parents will stick around FC Bucks forever, no matter what crap is thrown at them. Deep down inside, they know their kids couldnt make it at the top ECNL clubs, so they dont care if the coaches and training are terrible. Development isnt important to them. They dont care if the team never wins a game and is barely competitive. All they care about is a patch and being able to say their kid plays on an ECNL team. They are usually lulled into believing all the ECNL marketing materials about exposure and it being the only pathway to college, never realizing that all those claims are for top ECNL teams, not the bottom dwellers.

(3) Parents with kids who are decent players, but who wake up and have their eyes opened to the fact that the product being offered by FC Bucks isnt worth it, and isnt really all that different (except for a patch) from that of other top local non-ECNL clubs.

This FC bucks team is likely 80% # 1, and 10% # 2 and 3.

More girls than not on this team are average players and not going to play soccer in college, some because they want to focus on another sport, some because they just don't want to and some that think they can play and may be put on a roster somewhere (not D1) but will not get playing time

I think these same parents would also like to see BB go as well, but may need to live with him still being there since they also need his support to get the club to agree to this.

Rumor has it there may be another BRD in the works for this team - there is a group of parents (the same BRD parents, minus BB) who are working to get AA to replace RF. I think these same parents would also like to see BB go as well, but may need to live with him still being there since they also need his support to get the club to agree to this.

So have AA take on another team, while coaching HS and she left her FC Bucks team in the middle of the year!! Sounds like a great idea, remember the grass is always greener....

Yep - heard the same rumor - people can only take so much before they’ve had enough. Girls have lost 2 years of valuable development time. Let’s hope it’s not to late - AA would be a god send to this team.

So this team can't function without BRD's wow talk about helicopter parents who don't have the confidence in their children to make a team.
