Just make your point in an intelligent way and more people will listen.

Same in all sports and at all levels. You've NIAIA, DIII, DII, D1 titles; heck even in DI you've got NCAA and NIT tourneys.

Because there is no true upper division aren’t we all a form of lower division?

There were teams in Del Mar, and Oceanside who would absolutely lose to teams in Aurora.
We can argue about how many, but what’s the point? No league is Alpha dog.

Here’s a hint for you buddy: unless your kid is on the USNT, the first team, it’s all “lower division”. Even the USYNT are just feeder teams to the first teams...

Human nature tho, those on the middle rungs will do anything to differentiate themselves from the rung below and portray themselves as on the rung above.
