Truth! Youth soccer in the USA has been acting like the Super League for a very long time. Increasing costs (and their profits) and limiting competition.

Why do you fools keep bringing up Real being in ECNL or GA? Lets go over it again:

      1. They don't have teams in all age groups
      2. They don't have a 2nd team in any age group
      3. They don't have the facilities to host multiple games
      4. They don't have the personnel to coach/train enough teams
      5. They have 1 team that has had moderate success against ECNL/DA/GA teams
      6. All other teams currently in bottom of USYS D1 Mid Atlantic (weakest of the D1s) and lower.
      7. All other teams not from 06 have had poor showings against all ECNL/DA/GA clubs not called CSA.

You people never understand the difference between a club league and a team league. ECNL and GA are club as in you have to have teams in every age group (GA) or 1st and 2nd teams in every age group (ECNL) that are competitive across every age group. Sorry, Real doesn't fit that bill.

Spoken like a true Super League fan. According to your theory clubs like Sporting, Sevilla, Leeds are just not good enough to “compete”. Real NJ is 10x better than 1/2 the teams that crappy academies like CSA, PSA etc put out there. So what if they don’t have teams at all age groups??? Let the best compete against the best. Simple concept no. But instead crappy teams from academies are good enough to lose 14 nil, 11 nil, 9 nil in their fancy Super leagues. Gimme a break.

You think Real with it's 1 above average team deserves to play in a league built for entire academies? You are a fool. The best compete against the best, there are 3+ separate carding organizations nationally and dozens of different clubs and thousands of teams. You want to play "the best"? They have tournaments for cross league action.

As for Super League they have a cut off of 20 teams. Are their more then 20 awesome clubs worldwide that are as good, yes. There has to be a cut off somewhere. At 20 with a rotating 5 it could easily pick up and drop poor teams except the founding 12. These teams are out for money sure, what's wrong with that? FIFA and UEFA are looking at massive losses if these teams leave since they have the largest draw. It's about money on both sides, not about soccer or any noble sediment. As a player I would welcome possible playing less and getting paid more while having a longer career because I'm not playing 100 matches a year all over the world.

Above average? Real 06 is one of the best teams in the country. Why should they not play vs the best in the country? Because they are a town club and do not have the right connections? That’s why this flawed system has become. I excluding the best vs including the best.

They aren’t a town club, or even close to a town club. They are an academy, the same as all the other academies in NJ. Maybe the girls side doesn’t have the right connections.. not sure why not. The boys side are in the MLS Next league which is the top league for the boys side.
