Nothing about your statement is unique to soccer except for the name of the sport and the leagues. Substitute Lacrosse, Hockey, Baseball, Volleyball, Softball, along with their respective top leagues and top clubs. Should my kid play 3D or Laxachusetts? Skate for Wizards or Warriors... it's all the same, all across the country.

Employed and caring parents value education, community, health, and peer groups.
Youth sports align to all those values.

Most players in every league are average. This isn't a hot tip. Watch college games. The same average kids with an average coach knocking around a ball with very little iq behind it other than "get ball down field and kick out whenever possible."

Wondering why you specified “female” soccer players. There are plenty of average (and below average) male soccer players out there. Soccer is not the typical choice for the most athletic high school aged boys.

How often to you hang around the girls field to know how entitled they are or are not? Go find something else to do.

Perhaps you need to look up what the word 'average' means.
