Kinda hard to have equality and standards when there are truly great and way above average people walking the earth.

The college paper that whites think should get a C, might merit an A if evaluated by a person of color. An analysis that a white thinks is "brilliant" may completely miss the point if evaluated by a person of color. Whites may value showing up on time or working 60 hours a week and call those "virtues." But people of color may think those are artificial constraints designed to keep others down. Your support of white standards just shows that you are a white supremacist. Thankfully, the country is moving away from standards and towards equality.
You don't like Elan or Bill? lets replace them with perhaps Duane "The Rock" Johnson, Morgan Freeman and/or James Earl Jones.
What will you do with above average people?

Can you rap like Ice Cube or Eminem?
Can you dunk like MJ?
Are you funny like Eddie Murphy, George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Rodney Dangerfield?
Are you able to invent something great that can change the life of human beings for an eternity? (like inventing the camera, the automobile, Printing Press, The internet and your Iphone)?
We are not all equal. you get paid according to your worth and what you contribute. It has been this way since the beginning of time. even in Africa 1000s of years ago.
The more talented/powerful people put the others to work.

How would you have those things if others did not have the knowledge to create these? (what else is yet to come?)
No one is forcing you to do anything you don't want to do.
By your own definition, with every cd you buy, with movie you buy or go to see in a theater, with every bottle of coca cola and/or colt 45 you buy you are supporting racism and the very same system that allow the rich to get richer, the middle class to pay for it all, and allowing the poor to stay exactly where they are at the bottom just to scare the sh-t out of the middle class.

The message of that song stands in stark contract to the Anglo & Germanic ideas of an order and rules based society, which has become deeply ingrained in what we call "first world" society.

Read this is a fiction book recently. Seems to be just whats happening in America now.
“In fact, one of the most apropos political observations I have ever read is that a democracy can exist only until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From the moment that realization takes hold, history shows that the majority of the people will always vote for the candidate promising the most goodies from the public treasury.
“History also shows us that once a democracy goes down this road, things never end well. Each and every single time, the democracy collapses. It always happens. It collapses over loose fiscal policy, and democracy is always followed by dictatorship. And guess what the dictator promises?”
“Utopia?” Ralston replied.
Salomon shook his head. “No. When democracy collapses, fear, violence, and uncertainty fill the void. In essence, it’s chaos, and that’s what the dictator preys upon. The people are so terrified that they will agree to trade anything, even the most precious possession they have—their liberty—in exchange for a return to order. But when order is restored, freedom is never seen by those citizens again.”
