I understand club soccer didn't work out for you and you hate St John's. When the time comes for your kid to try and play in college and he gets turned down for college offers are you going to start new threads attacking colleges and their soccer coaches. I feel bad for your wife, kids. the coach your kid plays for and anybody that has to stand on the sidelines next to you.

I apologize to everyone for derailing this thread...I am done.
Hahaha! Funny! If you only knew.

The same kind of parent that claims it's all "political" in terms of PT or being selected for all state etc. He probably thinks every class his kid didn't do well in "the teacher hated my kid." Sure soccer has some politics but that vast majority of the time talent and hard work gets noticed.

Of course you won't share your insights and experience - because there's nothing to share.

Absolutely....TALENT and hard work gets noticed. Just recognizing the lies, cheats and politics that get in the way. No worries, the best AND the Truth always wins. Can’t wait for you to be in the nosebleed....

No need to share....just the need to expose the truth. Didn’t daddies stop coaching their kids when they were ulittles? In your situation guess not.

BA shamelessly promoted and pushed his two boys into colleges that were over their heads. One flamed out, Daddy slotted him on his own team, and shortly afterwards daddy was out of a job. #2 son also didn’t have the career daddy was hoping for. All in all they are living in their own personal hell. Never mind them. The world usually straightens stuff like that out. Worry about your kid and do your best for him.

Thank you for pointing this out. Not surprised. Of course this is what happened. Been going on for years. Exactly why Jalberts and Kovacs had to insert themselves into their kids high school sports experience. They had to micro manage their kids careers vicariously out of insecurity and fear . This is is why I speak out...true talent should shine and it will minus adult/parent interference. Unfortunately, other circumstances continue to monopolize youth sports teams..., especially private schools.

Boston Bolts especially should be exposed....

They’ve already been exposed as having the most college commitments of any Massachusetts club.

As with BA, if their kids don't have the talent it eventually comes out and bites them in the arse. College coaches either see right through it and are either never interested, or if the kids gets a spot that's too much of a reach they'll eventually get cut or quit. Besides, why get all jacked up about something that doesn't involve your kid/family? Worry about your own family. If your kid has the goods and is a hard worker - on the field and in school - it will work out.

You "speak out' for your personal vendettas because you feel your son was wronged. He wasn't treated unfairly...he just doesn't have any talent. You disparage people because they want to help their kids and then you do the same thing.

It's obvious you respond to your own posts to try and show that someone else supports your viewpoint. Very, very sad.
