Most (all?) of us know that our kids are never going to go pro. What we are looking for is a way for our kids to get into elite schools and get a great education which could very well set them up on a path for a good life and a solid living. If you can get into Williams and need FA, you get it. Period. It's need blind thanks to a crazy endowment.

The NEP and competition have become so watered down with all the “club partnerships” it’s basically NSL on steroids.
The NEP or “Partner” Clubs can’t keep a firm grip on the standards of these glorified town clubs.
You will never get this problem with ECNL.

Atleast most college soccer players can probably go play in men's/women's leagues. What do you think are the options on a college football player playing after college?

I think it's less than 2% of all student athletes will turn pro. So let's move away from theres no further in playing pro soccer there's no future for 98% of college athletes playing a pro sport.
