Or the new coach makes you miserable and never plays you so you quit or transfer

Key words in his press release, "relentless in recruiting" If you are a verbal, very worried. For those who don't like be graded on results there is always the no kid left behind league otherwise known as the Northwest Conference D3 where 40K gets you a roster spot.
Beauty is he can’t take the scholarship away as Pac12 and the other Power 5 conferences have to guarantee the highest amount of scholarship you receive and it can’t be taken away unless you quit

WCC does NOT sign girls to a 4-year scholarship they are year to year. Only Power 5 offer 4-year guaranteed scholarship

Do you think the new coach will really not honor the verbals of the prior coach. How common is that?

If you are a senior then you signed your NLI and you are good. If you are a sophomore or a junior he will want to watch you play and evaluate his current team in the spring. That is the harsh reality of college sports and also life

Except Oregon State didn’t let the seniors sign their NLI’s. They were told they had to wait until the new coach was hired.

If these girls haven’t signed yet then I would be very concerned

Matt Kagan, formerly of Mississippi State. This was announced several weeks ago.

But it’s not official yet because of his paperwork, right?

At least one of their 2019 commits has already signed elsewhere.

Did the whole coaching staff get fired?
